The Path to the White House

Winning the 2020 Election

Ask yourself why you are running and what you could accomplish

Before you Register  & Declare    The possibility of your being elected to the Office of President of the United States depends entirely on you and the decisions you make from this moment until Election Day.  Especially as you read this until January 2020.
That said, it can happen if you are the candidate American voters see can ensure the growing problems with government do not impede solutions which take them to a sustainable human economy.
In 1992, using primitive forms of 2-Way Interaction, we were able to push Ross Perot to 38%.  Our two other 'official' (read this paying) clients, Jerry Brown and Pat Buchanan, went up at 2 points a day.

With this election all of the past assumptions will go out the window.  Voters will be able to know who you are, what your life says about you, and assess your solutions to the problems which concern them well in advance of the Election.  The day of Pig-In-A-Poke-Politics is ending.
You do not have to be the nominee of a major party; we proved that in 1992.  You will not win by running a campaign designed to sell your charm and non-existant empathy, as Bill Clinton did in 1992.
You do not have to be a billionaire.  As you will see, billionaires have lost before, despite being decent people and having good ideas.  They have lost so badly you never even heard of them.
Read the section below, which will provide you with important information of the steps you need to take.

Essential Facts and Costs

Your picture and short bio on the Candidates Page will be linked to your Landing Page.   This provides web presence and the means for potential supporters and media to contact you.  It also provides videos of your  past Debates and any Panels in which you
participate, along with your final tallies and links to your Chatroom.  We strongly recommend you provide on your own site the option of uploading files with an email to you from those contacting you, in addition to a Messsge Box or a request for donation.  Many potential supporters will pass you by if they cannot communicate with you and receive a reply.   Remember, you have entered the Age of Interaction.
The cost for Sign-Up,  includes payment for your landing page and registration for the Tourney.  This is $3000.
As a candidate you understand the need to get donations.  You have been told TV is too expensive for you.  And to debate you need to be invited by either The Big Guys, or at least a college of something.  You were sold a bill of goods on both these issues.

You did not need to be invited to Declare, and you do not need to pay for TV any more than you have to pay for your own campaign expenses.  It is actually easier to get the funds for ads than it is to beg for money for your campaign.
If one of your supporters advertises on Debate Tourney because they have a business/product/service they are selling it is a business expense.  And since all TV Ads are Interactive they will likely thank you for providing their business with a boost they would not have thought about trying so soom.
DebateTourney runs on selling Advertisements to be shown during your debates.  You can contact an Ad Agency and they will explain how this works to you.  They are motivated by getting 15%, which is added on.  Everyone in the Advertising Industry knows this.
We know many candidates who have wealthy friends who would run a promotional ad as additional support.  That is your friend's choice.  Ads your supporter runs for their fast-food restaurant should be very welcome.
Depending on your campaign team, you may be able to handle this yourself by using our inhouse  1st Dibs Advertising , PR and Cause Marketing Agency, or to coordinate with your outside agency.
Your cost per Debate is half of the cost as the two Candidates debating split this expense.  We have designed this to keep the cost as low as possible; we understand you may have other preferences for which you pay separately.  And example of this is renting a studio with seating for an audience as opposed to a small studio  or talking head booth.
We will make Uplink studio arrangements near your home or other site, your preference, at the specified date and time.  Unless you specify otherwise, we look for the least expensive alternative.
Distribution will be on coast-to-coast Satellite TV and multi-device streaming, with cloud services for audience PhoneVoting,  interactivity, and monetary support for your campaign.   An advantage of satellite TV is that you can notify all network and local TV News Directors that the Debate will occur at a certain time and be available on a certain satellite at which they can aim a receiver dish and have permission to run extracts, of the entire segment, on their news shows.  Cable News Directors will often also pick up this content and run it themselves.
Having us make these notifications is an extra cost.  You are welcome to have your campaign do this or pay us to handle it.  The cost for having us do it is $5,000 per notification wave per debate.  If you share this with your opp sing candidate this would be $2,500 each.
The above basic arrangements will only cost $15,000 per debate for each candidate.  However, an additional option for Cable distribution on fiberoptic and coaxial is available for $10,000 from each debater.   If this is an option one debater wants and the other does not we will reschedule and find new matches for each debater.  Otherwise, our selection process is in the order of who registered with the Debate Tourney first and then alphabetical.
Thus, the basic total for your first debate , covering advertising, uplinking, TV News Director Notifications, audience interactivity and full distribution on satellite, streaming and cable totals $30,500.  Your five commercials as a debater would then cost $6,100 for each commercial.  Without cable the cost would be $20,500 per debater and your five commercials would each cost $4,100.
If you want to spend more on advertising your debate your opposing debater has no obligation to share in that cost.
However, you can coordinate if you and your opposing debater agree you would both like to have more advertising for your coming debate.
Expect a handling fee of 3- 5% for processing Interactive donations or purchases, besides your own costs of fulfillment if these take place on your Debates Landing Page.  Freedom Interactive does not require any  referral fee for donations or purchases which take place on your own, external website, even when they arrived there through your landing page.

Campaign On Satellite

If  you wish us to produce and crew a Campaign On Satellite (COS) for you this is  separate and negotiable.  If you do not have your own ad agency you can coordinate production of Interactive Ads for your sponsors with some upfront programming fee and 15% commission on the media buy and/or other gross income from sales.
PhoneVoter TV Network handed several presidential candidates in 1992.  This included one candidate who reached 38% and one candidate, receiving hours of counselling, who won.
You will be receiving emails for tutorials on selling ads to support your campaign as well.  When you are in a debate know that your opponent will be selling the same number of ads as are you.
This is a different kind of campaign, one which gives you rapid feedback, both positive and negative.

And as we told Bill Clinton when he was flat broke in March of 1992, people will donate.

Now you have the costs.  If you still want to  run for president the next step is Registering.  Then, you Declare Your Candidacy.   By law, you are required to file with the Federal Elections Commission, but that is up to you.  Some candidates, on conscience, refuse to file.  We stay out of it.
Registration is a simple statement between you and the Debate Tournament Committee for Freedom Interactive TV Networks Association you are asking to be added to the website, have a landing page, and moving to your public Declaration of Candidacy.  We assume this will involve discussions with your Campaign Committee and, perhaps, a public announcement you have Declared your Candidacy.

If you have any questions message us and we will respond asap.

After you have Registered use this form to contact us so we can discuss your plans for Declaring, if you have already made these or to explore further possibilities to publicize your campaign.
